Minutes
October 8, 2022

This meeting was moderated by Bill with Bob, Charlie, Tim, Mary, and Scott present.

Members took turns relating any recent photo activities.

Bob indicated we have a balance of $599.12 in our treasury.

Bill took home first place honors in our “Autumn Colors” photo contest with his image “Enjoying the View.”  Several members chose images taken during our 10/4 field trip to Crawford Notch.

Bill provided a detailed discussion of printing and showed some of his recently printed images.

Next, Tim described the process of soft printing an image and explained why this should be done first before photo quality printing an image.  Also discussed was the importance of monitor calibration.

The photo contest topic for November is Images by Candlelight.

We ran short of time and couldn’t conduct the monthly edit challenge.  This month’s challenge will be carried forward to November.
