Minutes
June 12th, 2021

The meeting began at 1:00 with Bob and Scott acting as co-moderators.  Bill was on hand with Tim and Marry soon to join.

After a brief catch up discussion we tackled the issue of reorganization in light of Tim and Mary’s unknown future availability.  Scott presented the framework of a plan whereby Bob, Bill, and Scott would alternate moderator responsibilities each month.  Under this plan our meetings would continue to include the photo contest (Bill), the photo editing segment (Bob), and a photo related presentation (Scott).  The moderator would then direct and guide the flow of the meeting and present photo related information of his choosing.  When available, Tim and Mary would participate and continue to provide meaningful content.

Bob provided the Treasurer’s Report which indicated a balance of $427.75.

The photo contest topic for this month was Bokeh with Bob’s well crafted image titled Lucky Hand garnering top honors.

Members then presented their edited versions of an image of a mountain scene.

Tim provided a quick tip session in On1 showing how to create a Bokeh effect with the Lens Blur filter.

Members discussed the idea of a field trip to the Fairbanks Museum in St. Johnsbury when the weather becomes less comfortable.

The photo contest topic for next month will be Night Photography.

Scott agreed to be the moderator for our July meeting.
