A Notch Above Photography Club
Minutes
January 11, 2020

The meeting began at 1:00 with the following members present: Joe, Bill, Bob, Tim, Mary, Jen, John, Scott, Ron, and Brooke.
Kristen was also on hand and attending her first meeting.

Balloting took place for our monthly photo contest, topic:  Churches.  There was a four way tie for first place with the winning entries
displayed on our web site home page and our Meetup winners’ album. Each entrant was then provided an opportunity to comment on his/her photo.

It was decided that the photo contest topic for Jan – Feb will be Long Exposure and for Feb – Mar, Food.

Bob provided a Treasurer’s Report indicating a balance of $345.41.

Mary provided information in the form of Powerpoint slides and 2 videos, topic: Composition

Scott discovered his laptop battery had died and was unable to demo Photoshop Levels and Curves. This will take place at our next
meeting on 2/8. He was able to quickly copy of a video titled “Creative Choices” to a thumb drive and this was then shown to the group.

Joe and Bill showed pics taken from a controlled burn by the N. Haverhill Fire Dept. in December.

The meeting adjourned at approximately 3:15.

After the meeting adjourned Tim was busy mounting photo contest winning images for display within the library.
