December 11 2021

The meeting kicked off at 1:00 with Bob (moderator), Joe, Bill, Tim, Mary, and Scott on hand.

Bob reported a balance of $453.90 in the NAPC treasury.

Members showed off their editing skills utilizing pictures that were previously selected. 

Members then reviewed and voted on images submitted for our Monthly Photo Editing Contest, topic: Fine Art.  Scott’s image, Reaper, was chosen as winner.

Tim showed a video by Greg Benz titled What to upgrade for Photoshop? CPU? GPU? RAM?  This video is very useful in analyzing computer performance and identifying bottlenecks. 

Bob showed slides which demonstrated how to conduct water drop photography.  Bob showed several of his own water drop images to include setup and capture. 

Joe shared several images he took during the past year.  Especially interesting were shots from controlled burns conducted by the Haverhill Fire Dept.

Photo contest topic for January will be Weather.

Bill will be our moderator for January.

Members were reminded of our photo club dinner at Colatina’s Exit on 12/14 at 5:30.
