Minutes
December 9th, 2017

Members present: Tim, Mary, Bob, Karina, and Scott

The meeting began at 1:05 and adjourned at 3:20.

During this time we concentrated on post processing software,
demonstrating ON1 Raw 2018 and Adobe Lightroom Classic CC. Our purpose
was to compare and contrast each software with live demonstrations thereby
allowing members to better determine their preference.

Tim conducted an in depth demonstration of newly released ON1 Raw 2018,
explaining the various modules and editing one of his own landscape images.

Scott presented his workflow process with Lightroom Classic CC.
Scott supported Tim’s contention that ON1, while perhaps being somewhat
more complicated than LR, included numerous desirable features not found in LR.
Both felt strongly that ON1 was superior due to eliminating the requirement to import images,
being able to work with layers, improved masking, and the inclusion of numerous high quality, editable filters.

We ran short of time and decided to save member hands on image editing for the January 12th meeting.
