A Notch Above Photography Club
Minutes
September 9th 2023

Bill convened the meeting with Tim, Mary, Clay, Suzy, and Judy on hand.  We were pleased to welcome Lynn who was attending her first meeting.

Members did a quick self introduction for Lynn and then commented on any photo related activities since our last meeting.

Our treasury balance was reported as $631.78.

A total of 9 images were entered in our monthly photo contest (topic: Leading Lines).  Bill emerged as winner with his pic ‘Old Church On the Hill.’

Next was the monthly editing challenge with members showing their post processing skills with two previously provided images.

Tim showed a video about the upcoming improvements and additions in the 2024 ON1 release.

Bill gave an impressive presentation about further advances he has made learning how to shoot the Milky Way.

Regarding an October field trip, there was good consensus that a trip to Jackson Village is best, with supper afterwards – probably at the Red Fox Bar and Grill.  Tim will determine which date (10, 11, 13) is most convenient for a majority of members.

The photo contest topic for October is ‘Architecture/Urban’.
