Tim began the meeting with Clay, Suzy, Judy, Mary Ellen, Bob, Tim, Mary and Scott on hand.

After our usual member update session Bob indicated a balance of $604.75 in the NAPC treasury.

Bob announced that our October meeting has been rescheduled for 10/21.

This month’s photo contest topic was ‘Open’ and Suzy garnered first place honors with her image titled ‘Beach Scene.’  Nice work, Suzy!

Next was the photo editing challenge using images from July.  Everyone agreed the image of the train was unique and fun to edit.

Tim showed an On1 video illustrating Eight Common Photo Editing Mistakes to Avoid.

Next, Tim utilized a nicely prepared Powerpoint presentation with handout to take a Closer Look at Leading Lines.

Lastly, Tim showed an On1 video with Five Quick Tips for Editing Water.

Members are urged to think about potential locations for a Sep or Oct field trip.  We’ll discuss this at our August meeting.

The topic for our August photo contest is ‘Leading Lines.’

Tim adjourned the meeting at approximately 3:10.
