Minutes
May 11, 2023

Scott convened the meeting at 1:00 with Charlie, Clay, Bob, Bill, Tim, and Mary present.
This was the 6 year anniversary for NAPC and thanks to Bob, pizza and soft drinks were on hand
and enjoyed by all.

As we enjoyed the refreshments members shared any photo related activities and paid annual dues.

Bob reported a treasury balance of $321.15.

This month’s photo contest topic was black and white. There were a total of 14 high quality images
submitted and Susan emerged as winner with her image “Last Light.” Congratulations to Susan on her first win.

Next was our monthly edit challenge with images which Scott had previously made available.

Scott displayed a series of slides published by the New England Camera Club Council which discussed various
universal considerations when judging/evaluating nature images.

Next month’s photo contest topic will be Still Life Photography.  Scott showed a series of images with several examples of
creative and artful Still Life Photography.

Members were asked about their ideas for future field trips. Scott mentioned the butterfly house at the Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium
in St J.  Bob suggested the Saint Gaudens National Historical Park in Cornish, NH.

Due to lack of time Tim’s On1 Workflow and Editing Demo was pushed ahead to our April meeting.
